  5. Help with ID - bubble algae?

Hi, this thing grew about 1 inch in a month, it's about 2-3 inches now. I was trying to ID it, and the closest thing I found was bubble algae. If its bubble algae, is this type as bad as the green bubbles? It looks kindof nice...

  7. kalk paste and manjano

I killed my Mojanos yesterday (I still feel bad about it):( . I took out the rock before injecting them with kalk paste, and then I used tweezers to pull out what was left of their 'feet' from the holes of the rock they were on. I think I totally removed them and the zoas which were around them...

Thank you for all your replies, I decided to keep and observe them for a while, since I don't have many corals in my tank yet. If they start to multiply like crazy, I'll get rid of them. ReeferGoneMad - I let you know if I plan to get rid of some, but you'll have to tell me how to 'frag them'...
  11. Hel with ID - button polyp?

Normally the zoos don't seem to be bothered by them, a snail was irritating them at the time I took the picture. I talked to Rob at the Greenwich Aquaria store and he said it might be a species of the Protopalythoa genus. I started to look at photos and descriptions, and I think he might be...
  12. Hel with ID - button polyp?

Thank you for your help! Duke62 - I was going to ask the same thing.
  13. Hel with ID - button polyp?

Hi all again, last week I got a small piece of rock which has 4 different types of zoas on it plus the larger polyps in the photo (at the wonderful Greenich Aquaria store). The largest one is about 1.5 inch in diameter, and it has a very wide 'stalk'. When I was looking around on the net for...
