Hi Pat, Thanks for chiming in... I took a break for two years after the issue with the 300DD. Thank GOD I took the tank down and sold off all coral & fish before the seam ruptured.... No tank upstairs yet.. , but yes the videos and pics are from the 4'x4' tank in my fish room. I changed things...

Did not keep track of timing.. I would change the DI resin when TDS meter started to move. Now all I can tell you is that It is noticeably longer timeframe. Sometime I feel like is the TDS meter working? but at some point it moves. On my next couple of DI changes .. I'm going to keep notes on...

Tank is chugging along.. I finally automated dosing for Nitrate and Phosphate :) Here is a large Tort that I grew from a frag that I got from Reefbum a few years back.

I think its a combo of both. Degassing of the CO2 helps a bunch, but more so the (slow flow for tank evaporation make up) through the DI resin. Either way I am happy with the results.
