Ok i will definately use purified water now and im gona try to do something about the phos.
Because i have seen my coralline growth decline so that might be why..
On the other hand im gona go ahead and get some scarlet hermits.
I dont use RO water cause i cant afford RO unit right now.
But i use conditioned tap water, i know this not good.
I guess i should buy some filtered drinking water for top-offs?
I have only 1 fish to feed and i feed only very few pellets.
Also i dont test phosphate, i thought that was...
Ok so my 20gal is about 4 months old now,
and i have a lot of brown filmy algae covering my sandbed.
The questions is which kind of cleaner should i get that doesnt kill benficial organisms?
Right now im thinking:
1. Blue legged hermits
2. Nassarius snails
What do you guys think?
Actually i have a aqualight single strip (65w), and my condylactis anemone wich requires high lighting is actually thriving.
Its gotten a LOT bigger since i purchased it and now its taking over half of my nano (20g).
So i think its not necessary, and besides im getting a doublestrip soon...
Are you acclimating them correctly? Inverts may die temp/salinity shock!
This happened to my first shrimp(coral banded) i just threw him in and he died soon after.
You have too many fish for a 2ft reef.
But yeah you have ich parasite and i dont suggest you get another tang unless you can supply them with at least 75+ gallons of space. tangs are susceptible to ich parasite. your other fishes hav prob built an immunity against it. if not they will die soon...
