Once upon a time, there was a pet shop on Route 22 in NJ. They had a Sarcophyton named "Steve". Steve literally took up half of a 55G tank.

Following up, are these sponges the photosynthetic variety? Or, something normally considered a sponge? If the latter, are you dosing silica, and if so, what level are you keeping your system at?
