You need to adjust the white balance on the camera. I'm not sure you can but you should be able to.

Halogen bulb???? I hope you are kidding. Don't use a halogen. Your tank will look horrible. As the kelvin rating rises the whiter the light gets going up to around 10000K after that the light tends to become bluer.. For soft corals you should be fine with some PC lighting (power compacts).

How old is the tank? I agree with the silica-removing media in the DI filter. Maybe your filters on the RO/DI unit need changing.

they are pretty bad whn they get big. I caught mine easting my xenia and colt coral. They are very unpridictable and can go crazy. I wouldn't recommend them.
