    a shop vac with steam cleanign atachment is not verry expensive yet verry useful. Can clean car and carpets and even suck up water changes cause shop vacs are wet dry.lol. or rent the carpet steamer for about 20$ and i would bet a red one that all flees are gone...... If u have no pets...

    Ro/di is the safest way to have safe water cause all other waters can have trace elements or chemicals(tap water or botled)wich are good for human consumption but may be tokic or bad for aqua use. just as it is not good to use only ro/di water for human consumption cause there are no minerals...

    Carpet wash with hot water. The fleas cant like the hot water and its alway impressing the color the water get.And no chemicals...

    I think the best way is to cut the source of food the algae is feeding on,therefor it will dye out.So less food and hand cleen the tank.Algae also need light to live,but you cant just shut it off so maybe shorten days or shut off some of the lighting. Snails or star fish might help,if you get...
