    This is true nitrate should be 0 I did move them in the clam tank but there is more light there, it is off to the side, and may have to move them to even a shadier spot. they were in a fairly bright spot in a 12g jbl nano but now they are there will keep all posted.

    Salinity = 1.023@80 deg ca=440ppm ph=8.6 nitrate=0 ammonia=0 nitrate=10 alk=10 mlq I am thinking it may be trace element that is lacking and going to transfer to clam tank where nitrates are 0~5ppm temp is 76deg

    Will try to send photo, but all params ok trace of nitrate, other corals ok may put in qt with 0 nitrate but mabye this is normal, I do feed them and thay eat but tenticals appear to be shrivaling. Any Idea's

    Those small starfish that seem to cause damage to corals is based on the articale from Seascope, Volume 18, Summer 2001. The ones in my tank appear to not be doing much damage however, they are stated as a nuisance, and I did loose some softies. I rid these pests as best possible from my past...

    Rule #1 In this hobby everything in the tank cost 20$ or lets just say look what grew here? Yes they can buy there expensive shoes, why cant I buy expensive clam, etc. Is it bad behavior? No I think not and it's not abnormal behavior. Mabye addiction!

    I wondered if somethings wrong me or is this normal behavior, buy, arrange corals, arrange some more and so on. I just cant keep my hands out of the water!! It goes on and on! does anybody else suffer from this type of dimentia?

    Yes I moved them to 75g, and have them in inderect light now. Found good info on wetwebmedia.com The one did melt away, but not in the Nano, the other 4 are ok for now. I have green bullseyes in the 75g and there pushing 2.5-3'' now will watch them grow.

    Photo, lets see if it works, I pick them up with hands or tweezers. They burrow in the flesh and eat, once in you, have to diescect they dead limb to find very hard (Size realavance photo) "These are dried out ones". "They did not shrink at all!

    The star fish in question is the Asterina star it is a prediator be advised that is the name.
