I had one on a 125 reef for a few years and it worked great. I think it will do 125 gal but not as efficient as some of the larger downdraft skimmers but I'm not looking to overskim. Here's a shot of it in action: Notine the dark gunk it pulls out. Great skimmer for the money IMO. Bob

Believe it or not I used a skilter on a very similar project. I used an airstone instead of the venturi to eliminate the noise. Worked pretty good and it provided some circulation too. Bob
