They are white and I've just been using my mag float to knock them off the glass. I have to do this almost daily, but if they are not harmfull, I don't mind. Thanks all.
they are rounded up front with a V shaped tail, I know this doesnt help much. They don't seem to bother any of my corals, but they accumulate on the glass and need to be cleaned off frequently. Thanks Len.
I use a DIY 2 part now that rocks, (please don't tear me a new one  ) but I'm starting Zeo and more stable parameters are key. I also like the idea of setting a reactor and letting it go as I will be doing plenty of dosing for Zeo already. I will say that in 5 days my trates have gone...
I have a 46 gal with a 20 gal sump and I'm getting sick of the 2 part additives everyday. Is a calcium reactor on a 46 gal tank possible? Seems like dialing it in would be a nightmare. If this is possible what brand would be recomended? Thanks.
Seems too good to be true...bet people used to say that about protein skimmers and metal halide lighting to. I want to see a tank in person before I totally close my mind to it.
So what are people opinions on Zeovit these days? The method makes sence to me, but I am far from sold. I ask because the pictures I see online are amazing. However I have never seen a Zeo tank in person. Everything seems pricey and too good to be true. Thanks.
Just ordered mine last night. I have a 46 gal bow with a twenty gallon sump, so I ordered the controller with a 500w heater...too much for my tank? My house gets down to 58F at night this time of year but I keep it at 80F during the day in summer. I hope a fan will be enough!
I've had a problem with my Salifert KH test (false high) but I do like the Salifert Ca test. I picked up the Sera KH and Mg tests yesterday and really like them. Mg test was $35 KH was $15.
