I'm not sure what brand/model it is but I just wanted to point out that the current setting seems like it's going to do just fine for soft corals. The only thing I would try to do is raise the intensity for better growth.

I agree, adding water from an existing tank helps so much along with adding live rocks with lots of flow helps expedite the maturing process.

I would try to get them out of there whenever you see them. I think that the reef tanks should not have any of them at all.
