They can do that?! My wife and I love scooter blennies, but they tend to disappear in our tank. Now, I see my newest blenny half consumed by a ricordia. They can do that?!
I'm moving in two weeks to Corona............... I plan on taking my reef aquarium with me. Any good shops in the area to get dry goods and stuff? Thanks.
mantles. I've never heard of six lines bother clams. This ever happen to anyone else? I've had another six line in the past, and he never bothered the clams.
I LOVE HIM!!!!!!! So cute. I had two black scooters before and they disappeared overnight.... I think my Debelius' reef lobster ate them. The lobster is gone now..... we'll see how this little guy fares. He's eating mysis and brine shrimp!
The xenia has found some way to grow on the shell of a cerith snail. Yes, the snail is alive and moving around. So basically I have a moving piece of xenia going around the tank, spreading more of itself to other rocks. Its' growing all over the glass walls of the aquarium too!
Yes, it is the handheld TDS meter from Filter Direct. The feed line to my RO/DI unit is hooked through a hose adapter to the laundry room cold water line.
Ok..... having fun with my TDS meter.
Tap water = ~570 ppm
LFS RO water = 14 ppm
Filter Direct RO water = 20 ppm
Filter Direct RO/DI water = 0 ppm
Arrowhead drinking water = 270 ppm
Overall this Filter Direct RO/DI unit is pretty sweet for the price.
I got the RO6100 + DI unit that they sell online. All their units use the same filters I think. You sure you installed it properly and let the first 5 gallons or so run off?
