From what it sounds they are little feather dusters, not corallines. I have tons of them on the back of my tank, i mean hundreds. Perfectly harmless, and if you dont like them just scrape them off with an algae magnet or pad. Alex

Sounds good to me. Thats a whole crapload of lighting over a 20 gallon tank though. Make sure you have plenty of circulation through the fixture with fans or something over that sort, and have it high above the tank.

If you have the time, drive up to lakeland and go to Noland's Aquarium Superstore. I havent seen a good store like that in a while. The prices on equipment are awsome. You can get a 150 watt HQI for like $199-$300, i cant remember. Definately worth the trip.
