  3. Neptune apex usb cable

I have used connectors and spliced cables directly to get lengths up to 35 feet. Used standard USB cables with NO effect on the system. I had plenty of old computer cables with the USB connector on one side and the printer connector on the other, no worries.

  9. What to do with the sand?

I have started to toss the sand, got permission from the town to spread it on a beach by the river. So one tank empty and the others to follow.
  10. What to do with the sand?

Remember, even to toss it, I still have to "remove" it and put it in buckets. Theoretically, it can be cleaned in place (the tank) and put in buckets. I have sand in 5 of my 6 tanks plus 1/2 the sump.......either way, it is too much to put on the lawn. I suppose I could bring some to the river...
  11. What to do with the sand?

Some of the sand is "original". The last addition was probably 8 to 10 years ago. Dumping it will be a project in and of itself! .....
  12. What to do with the sand?

After having reef tanks for 25 years, I will be moving out West. What do I do with the sand in my various tanks? I can sell or give away the rock and equipment And I will also have to find a home for the fish (most are over 10 years old). The corals would go quickly. Suggestions for the sand?
