It sounds like you have a great filtration system. I am going to build a sump in the near future. It will house a skimmer and be a partial fuge.

I have a Mini Bow 7 and I want a HOB Skimmer. I am going to eventually build a sump but it will be much later. Until then I would like to purchase a good HOB Skimmer. What brand and model would work for me? Thanks, Alan

I removed the grate and added a package of purigen. I also added a Orange Ric and a Star Polyp frag since the pic.

It is Branch Live Rock. I bought it at Capp Bay in Marietta GA.
