  1. Tank Pictures

Hi I have been away for a while, Blue Tang if you are visiting again this is the answer to your question. I have my Copperband now for ten years and he is still doing great , perhaps I was lucky with him.
  2. Blue Linkia doing OK

A couple of weeks ago I posted the question is my starfish dying. I am pleased to say, he seems to be recovering from what ever he was suffering from, at least that is what I am hoping for. He has moved to a different spot now. Done several water changes.
  3. Chaetodon Ulietensis not doing his job

Well GSchimer, I got a Ulietensis 8 days ago.He has settled in very well and likes the food from the others. He has not even looked at majano anemones. So I am very disappointed. Lookes like I will have to sort out all the rocks.
  4. Is my starfish dying?

No he is still in the same spot, looks all bunched up wit arms tucked under, but still has blue color no patches. I use nsw have done for 15 years. I prefilter it before use. Temperature was the same.
  5. Is my starfish dying?

Thank you all for your replies. Len ,very intersting article by Rob Toonen. So far though he has not discolored so I am hoping he may get better. I have done very large water change to help.I normally do a 20% change every 3 weeks.
  6. Is my starfish dying?

No nothing different done to the tank every thing is as all ways as far as water quality is concerned. Its just he used to move about all over the tank and now he just stays in the same spot. He is not old, as he was a tiny thing and grew lovely over the last year. Has he run out of food...
  7. Is my starfish dying?

I have this starfish a blue linkia that was a little over 1/4 inch on a rock I got some time ago. It has grown to about 4 inches in diameter. Now it is not moving and his 5 arms are shaped in an S form. Is he dying? Does any body know?

  9. Tank looking sad

That is what i worry about, that the Ulietensis will be the bully.
  10. Tank looking sad

I just thought though, what if my copperband butterfly does not like him and they fight? My copperband has been with me for 10 years now i would hate some thing to happen to him. Does any one have both?
  11. Tank looking sad

Thank you Laura and Greg you have been very helpful. I will try both. If my aching bones let me go up and down the ladder, as my tank is seven foot long and 22 inches high it is getting harder and harder for me. But I would not consider giving up my tank at this stage. So the fish sounds good to me.
  12. Tank looking sad

I have been keeping a marine aquarium for 15 years now. Never had a problem till now. Over the last year I have lost all my hard corals that I had grown from frags, they had grown big and beautiful. And all my Lobophillias. There are no bugs, but there are hundreds of those damned little majano...
  13. Post up your dream tank.

My dream tank would be a 96" by 36' deep and 24" high, my arms are not that long built in to a wall. A big room behind to get to every thing with all the necessary hardware to keep it running to perfection.
  14. My new Scribbled Angel

Well I might regret getting this Angel, I dont know what he will attack when he realy feels at home. I am hoping that I am once more fortunate, and he is a good fish.
