actually, nitrates do come from thin air, and when you have the air/water movenment and exchange, ammonia and nitrate are dissolved in the water and the nitrogen dissloved in the water comes into the air. I know thats not what you meant though

and, if you had the kind of sponge i had, it can dissolve your rock. You can tell if it does this by looking for other intake sipons around the rock. hehe I dried one of the rocks with the sponge, and the rock was basically hollow, now i know how figi rock becomes so porous

Its called "solitary coral", because it isnt a major reef builder (Scolymia cubensis)? Its found in florida. It cant be an orange ball colimorph beause according to BAENSCH MARINE ATLAS VOLUME1 it is an imitation coral with relation to the coldwater strawberry anemonie. I got some colimorphs...

are they different colors, (purple with white, ect) and oblong? If so, those arnt makatable, and they arnt babies, those are the normal size. I put some in my tank, I see some, but something is eating them. Good canadate for the refugium, or something to add diversity to the sand. Hope that helps
