How much reduction can be expected for phosphates and nitrates? There is a lot of conflicting info out there...

Its not terrible, I've done it alone with a 30 gallon. Rocks in tubs or buckets, bag up what you can in terms of corals. Use some airstones. Have a ton of water ready to go at the new location. Try to disrupt as little of the substrate as possible.

Decided an MP40QD is a better option for me. The MP10QD is barely used and has all of the case candy and box. $300. Can be picked up in middle village queens or I can meet in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn or Nassau County.

Trying to weigh my options. The plumbing in this apartment makes it impossible for me to make my own. Even the plumbing beneath the sink is recessed and not viable for a hookup. No hookup outside either. I suppose I could either buy the water or have a store do the setup…any thoughts?
