Not sure what your asking here. A water Change involves physically removing a certain volume of water and replacing it with the same volume of new water......so i don't understand why you don't have room for water changes. Also the berlin skimmer sucks! Replace as soon as you can.

Looks a little like flatworms to me. i had them for awhile. keep up you tank maintenance and the population will drop. They really don't do any harm IMO.

The very tops of chateo nearest the surface sometimes brown. i think you will be fine.

I would say yes that lighting would work. Do you test for alk and calcium? The clam needs good levels of these. Do you run a skimmer? What about water flow? what pumps are you using for it?
