So now that I know that it's good and I don't need to nuke it with joes Juice; what do I do with it?
I don't know much about plates; do I just target feed them a mysis shrimp every once in a while? Or are they primarily photosynthetic?
Whatever happens; it looks like if I ignore it it will...
I'll test tonight; maybe try a different angle and take another pic.
I don't think the base is hard though You're thinking like a bubble coral skeleton right? Like a little ridgy thing that is it attached to?
I'll let ya know....
BTW; it's about the size of a quarter for size reference.

A few other local stores mentioned here...
I feed my frogspawn 2-3 times per week; Either mysis shrimp or live bloodworms when I am feeding my FW tank.
I just got a 1/2" piece of rigid tubing; cram some food in there and use a turkey baster to 'baste' water into the tube; the water pushes the food down and down and into the waiting...
I also have one of the Jebo setups; doing good so far; and it does not have 1 4X55 or 65 ballast; but 2 split off 1 power cord.
For less than 5 bucks at Home Depot I split the power input for each switch off; now I have a 220 watt setup that can be run on 2 timers!
All I had to do was cut...
