  1. Is this bad?

Thank you! I would have never considered that.
  2. Is this bad?

I found this worm on the side of my tank. Should I remove it or just let it be? Any advice is appreciated.
  3. Fish fighting

Yeah, so far the 6-line has been very docile. It leaves everything else alone. The cherub on the other hand is like an aquatic honey badger. All day just looking to pick a fight. I'm hoping the quarantine works. The 6-line is a beautiful specimen.
  4. Fish fighting

Ok, here's my game plan... I just picked up a little 1 gallon tank that I'm planning on quarantining the cherub angel in. In order to catch the little SOB, I'm probably going to have to remove a lot if not all of the live rock anyway. So in addition to quarantine, I will also be re-aquascaping...
  5. Fish fighting

The 6-line is larger and is eating but the cherub is still relentless. I find leaving the light off helps a little but that is not a long term solution. I would have to take out all of my live rock in order to catch the cherub and currently I don't have anything to put him in. Is there any...
  6. Fish fighting

    I don't really have a second tank.
  7. Fish fighting

Mirror trick did nothing but keep all fish away from the mirror. Any other suggestions or do you think I should just let them work it out? I hate to see the new one die due to stress.
  8. Fish fighting

I have a cherub angel that is bullying my latest addition, a 6-Line wrasse. I've tried rearranging the live rock and leaving the lights off. He seems relentless on seek-&-destroy mode. If anyone has some other ideas, please let me know.
  9. 36 gallon... where to go from here?

    I am accepting donations. :smokin:
  10. 36 gallon... where to go from here?

Thanks guys! Nice pic btw bonomo! LGR!!! I'm still undecided at this point. I may still get the eel. I plan on getting a tight fitting lid regardless because if I upgrade the light I will need a new one anyway. That might provide me with more options anyway. I'll put up my own tank thread once...
  11. 36 gallon... where to go from here?

Hi all, I have a 36 gallon front bow. It has 40lbs of LR, an Eshopps hang-on skimmer and a Tetra hang-on carbon filter. The lighting is a single strip fluorescent tube light (which may be upgraded if need be). I had a crash (Oodinium outbreak) in it a few weeks ago. I am going to be doing a few...
  12. Snowflake transfer?

Thanks! I want to be completely sure I have rid my tank of the Oodinium before obviously adding anything else to the tank. I thought that doing a 3/4 water change would help with that. I still have 3 chromis in the tank currently, along with a feather duster and hermits, snails... I hope to...
  13. Snowflake transfer?

Haha... Yeah. I've read the horror stories. I plan on getting a tight fitting lid before getting the eel. Like I said, I'm a few weeks away yet. I just figured I would ask ahead of time so I knew what I was getting into. My plan is to do a large (3/4 or more) water change. remove the crushed...
  14. Snowflake transfer?

I had an Oodinium outbreak which is causing me to redo my tank, which is why I have a fear of adding someone else's water. I also have two cats who would love if the eel didn't make it into the tank and ended up on the carpet before reaching it's intended destination. I guess I could pick up a...
  15. Snowflake transfer?

But wouldn't I risk contaminating the tank with the LFS water?
