Thanks all - I tried the siphon hose and just pushed it in deeper! The coral is very intricate, it's ab 5 years old and a fast grower. I may break down and cut the coral, I am doing a tank upgrade in May so the coral would have to get trimmed anyway. Just being lazy!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I have a problem in my tank, I found a DOA fish which is bad enough but the real trouble is it is stuck deep inside a pink birds nest coral. This coral is ab the size of a large melon and there is no way to dig it out - The fish is small, any suggestions? Thanks
