  2. weird bug on macro algae

No biggie haha sorry cldnt save u from going through chaos to get them. You probably safe with adding almost anything from around here not exactly any coral predators, been adding stuff for two years and never had anything nasty. Ps what inlet did u dive? I know its a little early but see...
  3. weird bug on macro algae

No worries they harmless and eat specific pods, i add then all the time and can never keep them alive. The common name for them is skeleton shrimp.
  4. LED for 3' cube

Could try one kessil 360we. When i put one over my 36" 58 gallon it covers it perfect. People claim to have on over 93 cubes online. I think it would depend though on your liverock layout and corals. I Dont grow acros on the edges and my liverock is friendly for a point source but montis seem to...
  5. Tank Manufacturers

Check out some other stores that carry DSA. Thatpetplace in lancaster has them listed for 600 for the 105 tank. During a sale you could prolly do better than that. While still not cheap its better than 1100.
  6. Tank Manufacturers

Your best bet is ACC is belmar. There is also a store across the street called tropoaquarium so you can visit a 2nd store but ACC is by far better with prices. Captivating coral closed in march and dont think they have relocated yet. I had alot of issues with them never being open at posted...

  10. Mixing Tilefish

So ive had my purple tilefish for about three months and he is by far my favorite fish. He is always out at the front of my tank waiting for food and even shoots water at my hands sometimes. I want to get another if possible and was wondering if anyone had experiences mixing them, had my eyes on...
  11. Beginner sps

Id say monti setosa. I bleached a fair amount of corals when i was starting out but my setosa survived everything.
  12. clear looking shrimp??

No prob. They pretty common anywhere shallow with sand and they actually change colors from light or dark brown which was really cool. I never have an issue introducing any parasites in my reef for last 3 years adding this stuff, i also add the black mud snails which are great sand stirrers and...
  13. clear looking shrimp??

They all common names for the same group of shrimps so no big deal. There are three different species of them in our local bays alone that only experts with a microscope can tell apart. And ive heard that small ones are a great way to get stubborn copperbands to eat from someone before so guess...
  14. clear looking shrimp??

I kept them in my main tank. They are reallu active and swim all over so i thought they were neat. Im sure theyd do well in your refugium too so more of your preference. Ive seen them carry eggs frequently but never noticed the young.
  15. clear looking shrimp??

Grass shrimp. I keep some in my tank that i net off docks and they dont bother anything at all and eat any fish food. If you have larger fish they a great food.
