I know there are a lot of us on here lurking because of the lack of a better forum. I moved over from njreefers which was a great community in it's heyday but has since gone downhill. The NJ section of MR reefs is rarely used and doesn't get much traffic.
I was wondering if any NNJ are interested in Meet & Greets as well as here and there DIY/Hangouts.
I would really like to meet a few additional individuals to find out skills and overall meet a few good reefers in the area.
I was thinking of building a sump as learning this trait with others would be an awesome learning experience. I rather not depend on others to build my sump if I have the opportunity to create my own design etc.
The only downside to that is not having the equipment or the know how. Obviously, research can only do so much and the "just do it method" can become costly.
So the goal of this thread is to see if others are interested and just throwing out some other ideas. A place is obviously needed and I would offer my house in the future as I literally just moved in from wednesday-sunday night during the game to be almost done.
So I think in about a month or two, I will be willing to host a little gathering.
