I just ordered 1. The accuracy is not quite as good as the expensive ones but still way better than using the test kits.

Can these be used for salt water applications? I was just reading the fact sheet below and it does not indicate whether it can be used for salt water.

i'm not really sure. But I would think that since salt water has many more dissolved chemicals in it than fresh water it may effect how light is refracted on the meter thereby making the reading unreliable.

Well I sent an email to Hanna (the manufacturer of this product) asking if this will work with salt water, I will post their response once I get it.

I certainly hope that it does.

I think you might be thinking to deep, the seller of this product is a vendor here.. Call me crazy but I don't think they would post a freshwater tool on a saltwater forum unless it could be used here,,,lmao..
