finally bought a camera!

hey all!

I recently bought a sony dsc-s70 from a co-worker. It isn't the greatest, but for 75 bucks it was well worth it!!

How do you guys get butterfly pics? Those things run from me even when I try to move in slow.

I got lucky with my moth series. I think he may have been on his way out, and couldn't fly anymore.

I found this just out of his cacoon. They sit for a few hours drying thier wings and when they reach this point, thier wings and bodies are normal looking but ythey still fly away for a few more minutes. It really was sheer luck that I found him! To be honest with you, he flew away 5 mins after I picked him up. I only snapped a few shots before he was gone!
