This is very cool. Thanks reefs.org for the contest and everyone for voting. I was quite happy with the way the anemone posed for me and the way the pic turned out. The pic definitely made me think of a solar eclipse. What do you think? Here's a link (not a copy) to a pic of a real eclipse.

There was definitely many awesome pics as usual for the contest. In addition to those in the finals, I especially liked tkhawaja's Spiral of dots. marillion's Vortex was quite incredible too and many of the others were very creative.

I'd like to add a suggestion to future contests and that would be to make the number of finalists more flexible so that at times when there are many strong candidates, 6 or 7 finalists could be picked and when there are less choices, 5 would be picked.
