Best I could do with this Nikon 5700....I really must learn to use this camera!

did you take the shots with the saki on ?
or only with the uri ?

the colors are too blue for iwasaki bulbs even with uri support.

I have four 36 inch URI VHO Super Actinics, and no other bulbs aside from the Iwaski MH.....they are all on in this shot.


I used to have a different brand of actinics in there when the ballast blew and I decided to try the URI bulbs and an Icecap 660 ballast...


When I fired it up I thought "DAMN! Those are BLUE!!!" I don't know if it is the Icecap over-driving the VHO or the URI simply is a better bulb...but the end result is very nice...
