Hi Folks,

Get your creative juices flowing for this one. :) Let's have us all seeing RED...red red red everywhere. Find something reef-related that is predominantly RED, whether it be a fish, a coral, or whatever you want. Only stipulation is that the color Red should be the focal point of the image. Can you dig it? :D
This assignment ends on 12:00 AM EST Monday (sunday/monday midnight), June 30, 2003.

Please refer to the Contest Rules for more information about how to enter. Each member may submit up to TWO (2) entries per contest.

Please submit your entry in this thread only. Photos not submitted to this thread will not be considered for the photo contest. Photos that have no relevance to this contest will be removed. General comments or posts without a photo attached will also be deleted from this thread. If you'd like to discuss the contest, please start another thread.

As stated in our contest rules, the winning submission will be proudly displayed on our homepage for two weeks.
Winners for this assignment will receive a 15% discount on your next order over $100, courtesy of Reefs.org's sponsor, Marine Depot.

On top of that, the winner will also be able to choose an item up to $20 in value from Reefs.org's wonderful line of logo'ed clothing (shipping is free).
Browse the items here:

*** THIS PHOTO NOT A CONTEST ENTRY ***

I just wanted to show this photo, and it's the right thread. As I'm a moderator, it is not to be considered for judging in the contest. :D

John Wikman, RDO photo forum Mod ( RDO ID: Sharkky )
Camera: Minolta DiMage 7i
Shutter: 1/60s
Aperture: F 6.7
ISO 200
Slight color-correction in PhotoShop
Details about the shot: I put a floodlamp in a 5-gal salt-bucket, then a pebbled-glass cutting board on top of the bucket. The shell is sitting on the glass, thus lit from below. All other room-lights off.
