I'd like to know the circumstance behind this shot, if jinjit would like to tell the story. :)

What was going on that made them swim in unison, all with their mouths open? Was it feeding time?

Peace,

Chip

To be honest, I don't even remember... I took that picture quite some time ago
Could be feeding time or could be right after adding some anemone into that tank...

or... as I was reminded by a good friend - The fish just arrived from a 36hrs shipment, and put in the tank. there were at least 50 of them in a reef set up, they started some territorial disputes, nothing serious...

These are absolutely beautiful fish. Could a group of three or so be kept in a 50G tank or are they best kept alone?

I'm considering having my new 50G just have a pair of clowns (true percs or pink skunks) and an small school of another type of small fish, maybe 3 or 4 of them.

This pic was taken in Asi's reef center in Israel.
As Jinjit said it was just after a shipment,
There's another reef set up of a shallow 550G tank, where they put mostly
LPS corals and sometimes fish in nets, there are about 10 of these gobies who escaped the net and are having really good life among the LPS with 550G tank for themselves.
They are hanging around together and sometimes having these kind of "fights" I never saw any of'em get hurt.
They also got amazing appetite for such a small fish.

I am keeping two of them in a 10 gallon tank with a pistol shrimp. It is fairly interesting to watch them. I have heard that a dart fish will live in the burrow with them and and shrimp as well.
