The arrival of several spectacular orange Brazillian seahorses is what inspired me to bring my camera into the shop in the first place, after a long drought of not taking any pictures at all. :) Here are the best ones I could get :

AWESOME :!: I really really really want to set up a nano for some seahorses, but I hear there really hard to take care of...or very sensitive if you will. Plus, I'm not experienced enough either :(
All in good time I hope!

50-gallon in-wall seahorse tank in-between the office and living room...coming to the Photo Gallery in 3 months!

I too would like to set up a tank one day with some seahores in it. I'd also like to add some banded pipefish in there. Both are, from what I hear, difficult to keep and require very high water quality. One day. Nice pics Marillion.

Thanks. I'm setting up a 25-foot tank in the basement for some "seahores" myself. That way I'll never be lacking for sex...

;)

Peace,

Chip, appreciating the typo...

Oh, they look so nice......

Have you had luck getting them to eat the frozen yet?

A few of them have acclimated to the frozen food, but I simply don't have the time to work with them as much as I want. I've cut back my time there from 7 days a week to 4 due to the work on the house, and it won't be back to that schedule for me until mid-September.

One of my regular seahorse customers is coming in today to pick up a pair, though, and they have plenty of time to work with them.

Peace,

Chip
