Got some lettuce in for the tang (he gets lettuce once a week or so, then nori the rest of the time), and the blenny decided that he wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, the tang was none-too-pleased and wouldn't eat while the blenny was sitting in the lettuce.

Great pic John. I just love the attitudes of blennies. If something can be perched on, it's fair game.

Yeah his usual hideout is inside the lip of an old abalone shell or on top of one of the powerheads, surveying his domain. ;)

Gotta love blennies. My bicolor's favorite spot is the Turkish Lounge (sarcophyton elegans).

What type of blenny is that?

Bob

I forgot. He was jet black when I got him, and now with good feeding has turned to kind of a yellowish-grey color with the red stripe on his dorsal. He's larger than most bicolors I've seen, but smaller than most lawnmowers. I'll try to find the latin on him--I looked it up when I bought him, but promptly forgot. :D
