Ok.. lesson time - what's the technical jargon for that effect you've got going on there with the circles?

Lens flare.

And Sharkky, I was going to ask about that- was that a lens flare from your Rebel's 55mm lens, or added later like I did that one time?

I'm curious, because I wonder if you'd get the lens flare in situations you wouldn't want it.

This shot had a bit of lens flare in it already because I shot it with the 300mm zoom. I enhanced it in PS a bit though (forgot to mention that in the original post. What I should have said was that there was no color adjustment to the shot.).

What I really like about this shot if if you look in the foreground right under the sun, you can see a faint lightening; if you look really close it's a cornfield. I really like how that came out just enough to be visible.
