Digital Blue QX3

I got a coolio Digital Blue QX3 digital microscope that hooks up to the computer via USB. It takes pictures and movies.

The original pictures it snaps are 512x384 pixels at 24b colors. The microscope magnifies at 10x 60x and 200x.

Aren't you special? And what did you do that got you such a neat toy, eh? Oh! You HAVE to try getting some polarizing filters and growing crystals on slides then take pics of THAT. My dad did a whole series of different crystals many years ago.. you have to have the polarizing filters, though. The very best/most interesting ones were of urea.. I don't think I need to tell you how he got the base to grow those. Salt and sugar crystals are boring compared to that.
