Kel's parents sent us some roses last week after our bad news, and I thought I'd take the opportunity to use those close-up filters. Here's the first...

FYi, the bluish light on the camera-right is from exterior light (through a sliding door), the yellowish light toward the center is from overhead incandescent bulbs. White balance was set to incandescent bulb (which I think amplified the bluish cast). I increased the contrast a bit to show off the shadowy interior.
