Its a kind of gorgonia - filter feeder and very hard to keep.
On the picture it is closed up for the night - normally all the little white dots are folded out to little blue flowers on the tree - absolutely stunning to look at !!

Hi Brian,
Your coral is actually an Acalycigoria sp. Acording to Randy, the owner of www.themarinecenter.com

I had the exact same coral back in January. From my experience, they do extremely well under lower amount of light. I was receiving massive amonuts of growth under power compacts, although once I added the metal halides it seemed to slowely waste away. Mine responded very well to feedings of baby bring shrimp.
