**What are the pale 'lima beans' on my maxi's shell, they are definitely not bubble algae??

This little tenious? was totally bleached so I got him real cheap...pic doesn't show it, but it has aqua tips and yellow polyps. Getting nicer by the week

Nice frags As for the lima bean things on the clam, they look like a species of grape caulerpa to me

Would you remove them? They are multiplying quite quickly.

I would remove them. They may end up irritating the clam at least.
Those sure are happy little frags.

I did remove them and it was definitely caulerpa.
I try my best to keep'em happy.
