Have someone you can trust to look over your tank till you come back from vacation. Thats the best thing you can do.

I had the same problem for the Christmas and when i bought my instant ocean salt i got a free pack of this http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.c...03csegb&ref=3312&subref=AA&CAWELAID=811729015 After trying it the fish loved it so much that they wouldn't eat the frozen food that much anymore i just got an auto fish feeder and a feeding ring for the tank the auto feeder was positioned right over the ring so the food falls into it and don't get caught up into the flow of the tank they got so used to it that they hear the auto feeder turning and they come up to the ring and wait for the food...............................

nine days is nothing I was just out for 14 days and I came back to all my corals and fish. I would recommend you buying a automatic feeder (don't buy a cheap one, buy one with the night feature, where it doesn't feed if your lights are off) and put pellets and flakes and your fish will be fine for 9 days. Enjoy ur vacation.

Nothing just keep a big amount of water in a bucket. Most people have an auto top off that feeds from a big bucket. So depending on the evaporation rate and the time your gone you might need a bigger bucket. like a bin...

I will be going away soon so i might have to have someone come in a refill my bucket.

Dude try get your fish eating flakes asap and pray for the best lol also use a backup batery just in case and an auto feeder will help alot .

P.s. If you have a trusting person to back u up then thats really the way to go.

+1 that will b the best bet. At lease a person that can check up every few days to make sure every thing is ok.
When I went away my auto top off pump stop working lucky for me I just lost a few corals nothing major..

If you are worried about your fish and coral's feeding needs, you can try to order some saltwater feeder shrimps, they stay alive, and quickly disperse and hides in your tank. So your fish can pick them off as they find them.
