I am getting a big deference in readings between my api test and my sailfert test kit for calcium. API is 380ppm and the salifert is 420ppm. Witch on is right? i did both test twice to make shore i wasn't doing something wrong.
Thank you

API is only good to use while a new tank is cycling. Doing quick tests over and over and over.

Salifert is for professional usage to get much closer accuracy on par levels. Go with salifert for exact readings

You also need to consider the age of the kits and how they were stored. Both kits should have lot numbers on them and a date. The older the reagents or depending on how they were stored can effect accuracy. Salifert is a far better kit though.
