Centipede??? Help!

Good morning,

I woke up to find a bunch of centipede like creatures running around my tank. (will upload video shortly) What are these?? Are they harmful to my tank?

No, those are pods..amphipods and their relatives..they are what you DO want in your tank

Which are also ok as long as you have them in reasonable numbers. If you overfeed you can end up with too many bristleworms.

Your sand looks really muddy, like grey soot all over it. Is it easily disturbed when you move things on the sand and kicks up alot of stuff into the water? The video isn't focused so it could just be the way the light is hitting it. Something you should look into.

It's just becuase the camera wasn't focused. Trying to take a video while holding my daughter = crappy video!

Those are very very bad.... Quick get them out and put them into my tank. I will handle them from there haha but seriously those are good, fish and coral eat them. It means your tank is maturing and becoming more self sufficient
