Hydrogen Peroxide for algae

Does adding a little peroxide help take away algae? My tank been running for about 6-7 weeks. Just wanna know some info on this topic

If algae is your problem a good clean-up crew will do the drink; I would avoid adding in chemicals specially when you are uncertain of the reaction it may have on your tank.

Do you have cheato? and how bad is your algae problem? They tend to use peroxide with Dinoflagellates outbreak your system is also new so uncertain you wanna do that

Your system is way too young to be thinking about this. Your levels will not achieve a true equilibrium for a few more months at least.

Rule of thumb: The VERY last resort should be chemicals.

Do:

Decreases Light cycle
3 days darkness
GFO
Carbon
Macro Algae
More clean up crew
less feeding
More water changes
Manual removal/siphon

If you have algae after that, I would be Fn shocked.
