Brown sand help

Hello

My sand is turning brown.
I have 1 diamond goby but he only cleans one side of the tank, the rest is brown.
Don't know what to do.

How old is the tank?
It is likely diatoms if it is a new tank.
Are you using rodi water?

A pic would be most helpful.

+1. Also, what do you have for flow? How many fish, what size tank, nutrient load?

tank is 8 month old and i got about 9 fish...

One side of the tank diamond goby cleans and one side is dirty....

MAYBE i should get another diamond goby??

I wouldn't put another goby in there. It's just treating the symptom, you have to figure out the cause. Maybe you don't have enough flow, or it's not setup right. You could also be feeding too much. What is your flow setup, and how big is your tank?
