Upgrading Tank-What to do with Fish

I have a 30 gallon tank and 30 gallon refugium. I am going to be upgrading to a 110 gallon tank. I currently have two tank raised ocellarus clowns, two firefish and a pajama cardinal.

When I get the bigger tank, I think I'd like to get an angel, and a yellow belly dogfish. But I don't want the firefish, clowns and cardinal to become dinner. Is there any way to do this ? If not, what should I do with current fish ?

not sure of the yellow belly, but the angel would be fine, as long as they are smaller then what you have, if not you can always sell them or donate them

You will have some serious issues if you add that puffer...they can grow very large and will eat smaller fish. :eat:

What type of angel are you considering?

I was thinking flame, bicolor or lemonpeel. Maybes a larger one ?

Angel would still like to peck on anything that moves. Quite annoying.

Why not consider a wrasse instead of the angel, they are very colorful, many different types of wrasses would be happily at home in a 30g tank and they are excellent reef citizens.

Good idea ! A lit of the fish I have are shy . Will a wrasse likely be out and about.

I could possibly take the cardinal if you decide it is not safe. I only have a 24 gallon and already have 2. But if it is not big I would consider it.

Are these reef tanks or fish only? Either way I wouldn't recommend the puffer. Larger angels would get too big for that tank as well. You're better off sticking with smaller to medium species.
