Beginner.. need help

Just bought a 15 gal column tank. I have always had freshwater but wanted to learn to keep a saltwater tank. I really do not know much so before I begin I want to get all my facts in order so I can do this the right way.. What advice can you give me.. Live sand? Protien skimmer? Live rocks? Any help is appreciated!!

Read read read read and then read some more!! It all depends on what you want to keep. Do you want to do fish only? Do you want to have FOWLR (fish only with live rock), do you want corals. Basic flourescent lights will not really do the trick for anything other than fish.

You need to give more detail on what you want to accomplish so you can get the best info.

+1 but the most inportant thing you have to do is have ALOT PATIENCES. Thats the number thing to do while you get into this hubby. Remenber everything works lilttle by little never put yourself ahead of something that you dont know about. One more thing HAPPY REEFING BUDDY ENJOY IT ^_^
