Finally got power back, thanks lipa !!! Here comes the fun part of cleaning up the tank, water change etc ... By the way my mp40 battery back up never kicked in during the power outage.

That sucks that it didn't power the pump when your electricity went out. Glad to hear your power got turned back up.

damn... mine went on right after coned shut power off at 2 am. hows ur tank ?

Tank is doing good now, went out and got a generator 2nd day of power outage

Just spoke to ecotech rep, the reason battery never kicked in was because the power supply from the outlet was defective. They're sending a new one, still covered from day of purchase.

My plug was faulty too.
