Epayero, since cidly24 is hijacking this thread I have to warn you they are a China manufacturer that uses tawian bulbs that are nothing more than light without usefull par spikes be careful. I just felt the need to warn you since I started the thread and you may not be aware of their intentions. They will quote you a cheap price but they will not help your tank thrive. Just light without useful.spectrum like the high end lights.

Because I have seen your lights and their construction. And feel i should stand up for a fellow Manhattan Reefer rather than let someone get ripped off on a thread I am responsible for. For me this is more than a forum it is a community that has helped me in the past and I still rely on them. I feel it is my responsibilty to do the same for them if i know something that can repay the.community for the help they have given me.

Would you be more satisfied if i told you, that you are using .5 watt chips from taiwan and passing them off as 1 watt chips? I think most people here can tell you how well that will work for a reef tank.

I just upgraded to LEDs a few weeks ago. I am using Apollo Reef Leds. I am really happy with them. I switched over from a T5, because I would prefer to not have to run a chiller. My anemones and zoas seem to really like them. I'll be posting my new tank threads later if you want to see how they look.
