White things on my overflow piping

Lately i have noticed these white spots growing on the bottom of my overflow pipe. What are they i have never seen this white things before. I took some pictures i hope it clear enough to see what i am talking about.

White sponges? Everytime i look at it they keep on influating more and more.

There are white sponges. Pretty hard to tell for sure but they look like it.

They should be OK. I have read a few people say that Pineapple Sponges can get out of hand but I have never had them so can't say for sure. Google Pineapple Sponge and see if that's them.

I just google it and it doesnt look nothing like a pineapple sponge. This thing is all DARK WHITE.

Yup it looks just like the pipping color. Do you think it can be selicone? Maybe after a while it turns all white.
