Maroon Clownfish

Hey I have a GSM clownfish i have had it for 2-3 years and it has been in the new tank for 5-6 months with a RBTA would i be able to add another GSM clownfish and would they even spawn or not a chance
It is almost 2 1/2 inches

GSM is one of the most aggressive one among all type of clownfish. You'll need some special setup and process to introduce another one into the tank. The process is a full write up. Try google it and see if someone has written up one. In short, very difficult to add another one.

ok i read that if you add a smaller gsm and put it in a drilled specimen container they get used to each other and the clown would be less aggressive when you finally add him

You have to make the container entrance at certain size that he can quickly run back into it as a safe harbor of some sort as well.
