Ken im going to put 3 AI Sol whites along the front bar of the AI rail set. Then on the back bar i want to hang a 72" heatsink from Rapidled and diy blue and royal blue leds to that. In this way the nice Sols hide my DIY leds. :0)

My Understanding is that you can control with you reef keeper as i have one aswell. I will use channel A on RKL for Sols and B for Blue DIY Leds. One guy told me that i would have to mod the mini data cable to connect with RKL dimmer cables. Not sure how true this is.

I tried the whites on my tank and they over powered my diy leds. Probably because i use predominently blue and royal blue leds and the white sol is mostly white. I thought they were all white. but its actually 1 blue for every white. The tank looked a little yellow due to the AI's power. Looked like a 10k halide was in there. When my big setup is done ill dim the whites a little and add many more blue leds. As for the fixture it looks like apple made it. HOT!
