ANYONE HERE ON MAHATTAN REEFS GO THROUGH PHASES OF BUYING CORALS ? WHEN I FIRST STARTED MY TANK I WAS ALL INTO ZOA'S AND PALYS..3 MONTHS LATER I HAD TO HAVE RICORDIAS, THEN SWITCHED OVER TO ACANS. NOW I'M INTO FUNGIA PLATE AND ENTRY LEVEL SPS. THIS IS WHY I'M FINISHING UP MY MAN-CAVE TO GET A BIGGER TANK, AND THEN HOPEFULLY I CAN HAVE ALL THE CORALS IN THE WORLD. MUUHAHAHAHAHA - ANYWAY I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER FIND A MORE ADDICTING HOBBY AS THIS ONE. I'M SURE MOST OF YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME HERE, THIS IS THE BIGGEST MONEY PIT EVER - NEXT TO HAVING A HOME.

I'm sure the sps bug will eventually bite me, when it does, i'll be doing sps exclusively. As of now i'm enjoying a mix of everything.

I find its all about the Chase. Whether its looking for corals, equipment or even upgrades. Once u get something, the fun is over, so to speak.
