Just wondering, for sps to grow and keep vivid colors, does the alk and calcium always have to stay the same? I mean if alk is 9.3 and calcium is 500 if it goes down to like 8.9 alk and 450 calcium does that affect it? I know you have to dose but if you use a 2 part does that mean you do it everyday to try to keep those levels exact all the time?

I am by no means an sps keeper but stability is the key in the hobby. Yes i would have to say that you would need to dose to keep up with the demands. Their is a lot of members here that have sps dominated tanks maybe they can chime in.
